WASHINGTON — Howard Dean yesterday officially jumped into the race to head the Democratic National Committee, by blasting rivals who say Democrats should talk more about "values" to court Republican red states.

"That word, 'values,' has lately become a code word for appeasement of the right-wing fringe," Dean wrote in the a letter to the 447 DNC members who'll pick their new chairman Feb. 12.

Please God, let him become DNC Chairman. Then at last, the Democrats will be destroyed.

Regards, Ivan

Howard Dean as chairman of the DNC? God must really be a Republican.

Hopefully the Rats aren't paying too much attention to what this fruitcake is saying and he can slip in the backdoor of the DNC unnoticed and help complete the extinction strategy of the Democrat party.

I wonder why the RATs assume anyone who has "values" is a republican? Don't RATs have values? They value abortion, appeasment, adultery, and those are just the "a"-words.

But wasn't he the one who wanted to give the impression he was just like the "good old boys" with values, hence he got ridiculed in cartoons for being a pickup driving Bubba?

A Leftist is nothing if not consistently inconsistent.

Also in the running is Tim Roemer, a former Congressman from my state, Indiana. This morning the Indianapolis paper has a story quoting the Chairman of the Massachusetts Democrat Party as saying that Roemer cannot possibly lead the democrats because he is against abortion (Roemer is a practicing Catholic).

February promises to be an entertaining month, methinks.

"That word, 'values,' has lately become a code word for appeasement of the right-wing fringe,"

What he really means is that he and the Left reject Judeo-Christian values and morality, and wish to be their own gods.

During his presidential run, Dean spoke about appealing to Confederates in pickup trucks. It appears that Dean has abandoned his attempt to woo the red states.

The Dems will be history if proof of a "gay" gene is ever found. The first abortion to avoid having a gay child will start the fire that will burn their house to the ground.

I'l tell you this, Dean has infinitely more values than sKerry ever had. When he mentioned he wanted to be the 'candidate for the guys driving pickup trucks with confederate flags on them' I think he was at least sincere, notice how the Kerry people attacked him on that. Plus add to that he's fiscally more conservative than some of the republican members of congress are.

The title is misleading. I thought he was scolding them for being commies.

If Dean gets the post, it will be an indication that the Clintons no longer control the party, and Hillary will have a tougher time in 2008.
