Differentiate what? Maternal descent isn't a citizenship issue, rather whether one is Jewish or not.

Israelis are black, white, and all shades of brown. They are Jewish, Muslim, Christian, Ba'hai, and Druze. They come from every continent and every ethnic group.
You may wish to clarify your comment.
