UN to set up registry PA's fence damage claims
By ASSOCIATED PRESS

UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan took the first step Tuesday to create a register for damage claims stemming from the construction of the security fence in the West Bank.

Annan sent a letter to the General Assembly president on Tuesday setting out a framework for the register and the next steps in its creation.

The register, as envisioned by Annan, would be based in Palestinian occupied territory "so that it will be close to the people who will be submitting their damage claims for inclusion in the register," the note said.

Details on staffing, size and cost remain to be worked out but Annan proposed that the registry office be financed from contributions by all 191 UN member states.

"The purpose of the register is not to adjudicate claims of damage but to collect them for possible future adjudication and compensation," it said, adding that a future compensation mechanism would be responsible for deciding on the legitimacy of claims and putting a value on them.

More UN nonsense. Where is the registry for victims of Palestinian terror? Other Islamic terror? There is none nor will Secretary-General Mr. Cloud Monkeys (Kofim Annan) call for such a thing. It's just more confusing of the victims with the aggressors by the U.N.

Annan proposed that the registry office be financed from contributions by all 191 UN member states.

Your American tax dollars at work again. The U.S. is the biggest contributor.

For those of you who haven't read it I heartily recommend Dore Gold's book Tower of Babble. It's one of the best books on the U.N. out there.

Every time I read one of these headlines I think they're talking about Pennsylvania.

Thankfully Pennsylvania is mostly a pleasant place very much unlike the Palestinian Authority and the areas it sort of controls.

Might just be baby steps along the road of Kofi's desire for the UN to run the world. First, have a bogus court declare an activity (building the wall) by a group or country they want to punish and extort (Israel) illegal. Then set up a "claims" registry (and fly in Ramsey Clark to show them how to trump up and pad phony claims) which are then adjudicated in the same bogus court. Demand payment and, when the object of the extortion refuses, declare it in violation of international law and judicial decisions. Creeping new world order. And strike at Israel first because, after all, who cares about them anyway.

"Annan proposed that the registry office be financed from contributions by all 191 UN member states."

How about he funds it from one of his or his sons' Swiss bank accounts. Or, just take it from his office budget.

I'm all for it, after a registry for the victims of Rwandan and Bosnian genocide is established. Wait, they can't register, they're ALL DEAD BECAUSE OF KOFI AND HIS ILK.

Although the leadership is interchangeable.

The U.N. exists solely to condemn Israel and America, yet both countries continue to poor money into this Jew-hating, Western-bashing organization. We Americans even continue to host them. Am I missing something here?

Rhetorical question:

Why in the h*** does the USA even bother wasting its time and money on the UN=Useless Nags? Reason 1002030234983041234 why the UN is totally irrelevant, uselss, achaic, and takes up way too much space and oxygen.
