A moron thin-lipped, lying, dark-haired, beady-eyed scumball, Mark Guenther (sp?), on Chris Matthews spewing bull about Dan Blather and SeeBS........... says of Dan Rather, "He may not believe in the facts." Is this too funny!?
'Spitball' Chris Matthews keeps trying to hold up the SeeBS crutches.......... not working!

We have been living Orwell's 1984 for at least 20 years - if only Berny Goldberg had been a more forceful Diogenes - well at least we are awake now.

In Brit Hume's show tonight he had a segment about how the Dems have made a DECISION to be contrary and obstructionist this year because they are so unhappy with the way Bush has run things both foreign and domestic---
So now they are so proud of how they act that they announce to the world ahead of time that they are gonna be donkey's rear-ends. It is chutzpah, or suicide?

just like today Rep. Weiner (D) of New York was on Fox and said that it was okay for Bush to have swearing in ceremony on Jan 12, but because of the war and the tsunami, it would be in poor taste and just plain wrong to have the hoopla surrounging the inauguration.Where was the hippocrite Weiner when Clinton took 450+ of his fellow travelers to Africa? I guess Ruwanda was just a fly in the ointment. Where was he when Clinton paid his homage to China? It took a year of planning and a billion $ of taxpayer money to pay for his extravaganza. Oh I forgot, he was part of the entourage.

I was wrong when I said he was on Fox News--I remembered after I posted that it was on soon to be cancelled "Crossfire".
After Weiner made those remarks, Robert Novak showed a picture of the $1,900,000.00. It was a figure close to $2 million that was an un- earmarked amount in the omnibus bill for Weiner's district. He asked Weiner, if it wasn't earmarked for anything, then maybe he should just give it to the tsunami relief fund. Weiner then said that actually $2 million wasn't enough considering New York is the #1 terrorist target so the "deserve" a lot more money than they ever get.
Hm---and they were all complaining about the Republican National Convention in NY with all the big bucks they spent---

I turned it on today to see if anything was said about Tucker Carlson, or to even see if it was still on since CNN said they were going to discontinue it.
They should also cancel Captitol Gang---have you ever watched that piece of leftist crap? Margaret Carlson actually said this last Saturday that Jimmy Carter was one of the best presidents we ever had!!!

Just trying to do this from memory, so here goes:
From "Back To School"
Dean Martin [Ned Beaty]: "Well Thornton, did you cheat on the exam"?
Thornton Melon [Rodney Dangerfield](sweating, and in great distress): "I can't lie to you Dean Martin ..... NO!"
Dean Martin: "Well, I'm satisfied then...."

well at least we are awake now. The problem is ..... it is just "WE" who are awake............ not too many more are awake!
2008 could be ugly for America if we do not awaken more!

I used to watch all of the CNN shows when there was no choice...I have to admit, their video coverage of the first Gulf War was incredible....then again, I haven't had TV now for 8 years.

The "Back To School" scene was my first thought when reading an (unrelated to your post) article about the cBS 'investigation' asking both Rather and Mapes if they had any political agenda on the Memogate story ... both answered in the negative. Of which the final report pretty much sums up 'Dean Martin' as saying: "Well ... I'm satisfied ...."
To: Txsleuth

"He may not believe in the facts." Facts are simple and facts are straight
Facts are lazy and facts are late
Facts all come with points of view
Facts dont do what I want them to
Facts just twist the truth around
Facts are living turned inside out
Facts are getting the best of them
Facts are nothing on the face of things
Facts dont stain the furniture
Facts go out and slam the door
Facts are written all over your face
Facts continue to change their shape

The elite media has broken the faith with us. Truth no longer matters as much to them nearly as much as their agenda.
The question that I have is this:
The media is often given special privileges because of the "publics right to know". Since they have broken faith with us and since they routinely weave their bias into even mundane stories, is it time to reconsider the medias special privileges?
I'm talking about everything from special parking spaces to embedded reporters to confidential sources.
Is it time to send Buckhead to war ?
