I keep wondering when Laura Ingraham is going to get the fame and money she deserves and Hannity is holding hostage. ........
It's a man's world...and Laura is too damn smart.

Cubby could go a long way toward winning some real respect if he would just get on a plane and broadcast from Baghdad, even one show. He's getting rich by convincing Wal-Mart shoppers (and I mean no offense to these folks)that he's a tireless and tough blue-collar supporter of the troops. He's raking it in with no skin in the game.
I kick myself whenever I miss Mark's opening diatribe. Not much personality there but man is he on target and firing for effect most of the time.

It's a man's world Well, that doesn't explain all the male radio hosts out there who are far better than Hannity who don't get the recognition they deserve--Medved and Prager are two that I listen to that aren't as well known and I think both are leaps and bounds above Hannity.

Sean has become a phoney......
People don't "become" a phoney, the world just gets wise to them.

Boy you will have to show me where Bob Shieffer has shown that he is a friend to Bush---Face the Nation has seemed like a short version of Meet the Press---mostly dems and rinos.
I know that his brother was with Bush during his Rangers time---but, most people that like me, don't like my sister, and vice versa, so I don't think it naturaly follows that he and BOB would be close.

Starting to sound like a Monica party...
Now you've done it. I have to wash out my imagination with soap, because I have some really horrendous images in my head right now!

I turn the show off as soon as I hear the first "Great American" from either Sean or a suck-up caller. I usually only get about 10 seconds into the show. Have you tried listening to Savage recently. Every single caller starts with "Dr. Savage". Apparently, it's a requirement from the call screener.
I'd love to hear someone start with "Dr. Weiner".

You mean he might not be able to book Amber Frey for his radio show & his TV show unless he reminds us how courageous Amber is for writing a book about how she boinked Scott on the first date? I like Sean, but I now view him as just another entertainer, particularly after hearing some of his comments about Lacy last week.
Sean actually said that Lacy is "as much of a victim" as anyone else in the case. My SUV almost drove into a snow bank after I heard him say that. C'mon Sean. As much as a victim as Lacy and her unborn child. As much as a victim as Lacy's parents who lost a child and a grandchild.
And then when a caller suggested that Sean and Fox had sensationalized the tragedy, Sean said that the only reason they followed the case so closely was because it was a big story and in Sean's words, "the second biggest trial" in his lifestyle. Sorry Sean, but this was only a big trial because Sean and Greta and people like them pushed it day in and day out, when it should have been just another sad murder case. Pathetic.

Dennis Prager hosted what was perhaps the best late night chat show in network television history.
Too bad it was canceled, at around the same time that Limbaugh was dropped.

That would be amusing, come to think of it.

I met Hannity only once and briefly. He came off as aloof and self important. I do not particularly like his show. One problem is that he is not well read or conversant on philosophy and political theory and in a real debate couldn't hold his own on anything. The guy decided to go on radio rather than college. What you get is the result. He is a parrot, just repeats what he hears and I am not sure he is capable of original though or opinion.
Rush has a similar background, but I think Rush at least learns from what he reads and can think. Thinking is not Hannity's forte.

I can handle him more on TV, because he is so much better than Alan, who is like fingernails on a chalkboard to me.
On his radio show, he doesn't confront people enough like other posters have said.
I watch him on TV also because there are so few Bush fans on cable talk shows. I used to think Joe Scarborough was, but boy he veers left waaaaaay too many times. Who else is there?

Am I the only person here who did a spit take when Newt Gingrich suggested that Dick Cheney would be a plausible presidential nominee for the Republican Party, four years from now?

I love Laura's show---right mix of interviews and callers and goofing around with Habib and friends.
She is also very smart and I rarely find myself disagreeing with her. I especially like how forceful she was during the Specter e-mail barrage after the election.
I keep hoping she might get a gig on MSNBC, or better yet, replace Greta.
As far as Hannity's show---I just love Mark Levin and can't get Levin's show here in Dallas area---wish I could.
