It's nice that you (among others) are trying to keep the debate focused. I stopped participating on these threads because certain people, or their ideological brethren, don't care about property rights. They don't really care about rights of any type. They don't care about the republic, the constitution, or about history. They simply want the power to be able to tell you what to do.
That they call themselves republicans or conservatives is disgusting. I'm a thick skinned type, I don't care that some nameless chuckle-head might be less then polite. But the sheer ignorance and their blind compulsions to push statist directives is very depressing.
Do they honestly think they are fighting for the "Land of the free and the home of the brave" or some Orwellian superstate?

Well, I would certainly have to agree that they are definitely questionable. It's funny how liberal so-called conservatives can get when it comes to something they don't personally like or agree with.
I am getting an eye-opening experience, that's certain. :)
Good morning!

They are, as you well state, totally blind when it comes to this issue.
I understand your reason for backing out of these type threads. My main reason for continuing participation is somewhere out there is someone who is really look for both sides of the issue.
