That's great. It was a collaborative effort on the part of the Freepers involved, but Howlin got the ball rolling. No offense to Buckhead, yet gotta give credit where credit is due. It's Howlin who should be the "famous blogger".
They actually name the blogger by name in the footnote, but I'm not inclined to name names here. (Too much harassment from liberals ensures.)
Buckhead never claimed sole credit. It actually took a lot of people on a lot of sites to nail the coffin shut. It really wasn't over until the font experts proved it was a TrueType document, and that there was nothing in the 1970s that could produce the character spacing.
It is significant that not a single original 1970 document from any source -- military or civilian -- has been produced with a matching character spacing.
Way to go, Howlin. One person or a few people can really make a difference.
