The irony of the day: CBS News releases its report that goes out of its way to say they erred while not admitting bias or overt partisanship while trying to trash the President's election hopes. The same evening, FreeRepublic.com will announce the Eagle Award recipients for 2005.

Meanwhile CNN will bury one of these stories and completely ignore the other.

Sorry, I thought your thread on the letter to CBS employees deserved a separate spot. Sorry it was pulled.

Well, you're invited to repost here if you wish. That CBS letter is a good public spanking. But this letter leave out the names of the employees who hired ONLY LIBERALS so that there was not DIVERSITY OF THOUGHT in the newsroom that WOULD HAVE STOPPED THIS ERROR. Time for another management conference at CBS, a summit on the issue: how can we avoid this problem in the future while hiring only liberals? Hmm, that's a tough nut to crack.
