Ya know, sometimes, I get caught in conversations that I don't want to read.

Well that's Hollyweird for ya.
The special effects for Titanic were impressive,
but I was really turned off by the casting.
The blending and blurring of traditional male/female looks churns my stomach.
It would've been much better if they had cast a duo like Paul Hogan and Linda Kozlowski to play the hero/heroine respectively, IMHO.

Ray: kudos to your brother. What a plum assignment, and sign of great talent, to work on the score for a major motion picture.

WG - I agree re Leo. Terrible actor and totally miscast in Titanic. The part called for a manly man, not a soft and delicate-looking boy. Haven't seen The Aviator, but if I do, I'll be listening to the music, not paying attention to Leo, I'm afraid.

Yeah, "delicate" is another good way of putting it.
Unfortunately, Leo has all the rugged machismo of Macaulay Culkin.
It just didn't work very well.
