While they should have fired Dan the Pseudo Man, she had been trying to do this story for FIVE years- like before the 2000 election. SHE hooked up Burkett with Lockhart. She went into journalism with an Agenda.Like most lefties, she wouldn't fall on her sword when she was caught, so she had to be pushed. Good riddance. She can start a lounge act with that whacko who did the nerve gas story about 'Nam- and who also had to be carried out screaming.
I agree with you. While Rather's involvement in this so-called report is also apparent, it was she who pushed for the piece.
