Oh, let's just take a guess. He was part of a vast right-wing conspiracy. Or he has been brainwashed by the Republicans. Or he was on drugs when he wrote the book.
Anyone else got another one ???

"Wouldn't it be funny if the party that supports reparations...is the one that has to pay for it?" It'd be the most exquisite dark irony.
Paging Mr Jack$on, Mr $harpton, Mr Jack$on....

"That damn hyphen crap is one of the problems in this country, everybody want's to be something special...sorry...we are just Americans."
AGREED.
I also agree mostly with you about reparations in general.
I don't think the Reparations EXTORTION CRAP will really go anywhere, although it isn't going away right away. It's just that this suit fights fire with fire, co-opting Jesse Jackson/NAACP ... that part is a beautiful thing and I believe should be supported until JJ and Sharpton stop their crap.

I have a feeling this is a symbolic move. Brilliant I say... the liberals will be gobsmacked.

In a sense, the African American community has been in servitude to the Democratic party since LBJ was in office.

If anyone deserves any kind of repairations, I'd say the Native Americans deserve it first. They still have it worse than the blacks do.Why Native Americans? Was this land off limits to everyone foreign? What of the billions given them over the years and their lack of progress into the modern world. Our propping up is exactly why they are where they still are. Dependent and Angry.
Sound like anyone else?

I support the suit for the sole purpose of having the Democrat party put down on public documents reasons why reparations should not be paid. Not only will that further drive a wedge in that party, but it will also end the reparations argument for good (I hope).

The Native Americans owe reparations to the people they replaced.

Rev. Perryman would be the first to agree with you about the hyphen business. The Rev. is a conservative commentator here in liberal hell, I too think this is a way to bankrupt the dim party and show the young Black kids a way to see the dims for what the really are.
Why not email the Rev and ask him yourself about his plan, he'd answer, I guarantee.

The technical difference is that the government made treaties with various tribes then broke them, etc. etc. There was no such thing with black slaves. The time for restitution and reparations would have been right after emancipation but the social climate of the time deemed that unthinkable in this country. It's a little late IMHO.

Here's a similar version, written last April, where wrote to Terry McAwful and demanded an apology from the Democrat party. He enclosed a copy of his book, and outkined his case similarly to his legal case.
There are some more historical details though. For anyone interested Here's a link for the Acrobat impaired or hating
