Googling has replaced the concept of learning something the hard way.

If that's really true, then color me stupid, because there is more stuff out there to know than what I learned in school. I like Google, and I find it an efficient way to learn new things.

let's not forget that SOMEONE controls the hits in google...just google images for George Bush and see the proportion of insulting v. pro images...

Exactly. Google is just like having the Library of Congress in your home, except you don't have to struggle through endless card catalogues and deal with snooty librarians!
