"Cooperation and unity are the most important values we can teach children," Rodgers said. "We believe that this is the essential first step to loving thy neighbor." 'Love thy neighbor' is one thing. Embracing their lifestyle is quite another.

Exactly. If you check out their resources, teaching suggestions, and allies you will find this is nearly ALL about promoting homosexuality and feminism. They have links to a young feminist site and a "tolerance" site that promotes gay marriage. The book resources for teachers are nearly all gay & feminist stuff, including info about how religion and homosexuality are perfectly compatible. They suggest questioning the kids about how many gays (openly) they know in school and elsewhere, how many publications have gay info in them, etc.
This isn't about tolerance. There is no inclusion of any view other than the liberal view that perversion and feminazism should be embraced.

A Federal Express spokesman said the company is "proud" to provide shipping for the project
Which is why I'm PROUD to only use United Parcel Service for all my shipping needs. I haven't used Federal Express for years because of Fred Smith's (CEO) politics and now it appears they and he are out of the closet. UPS has done a better job for me and my company in both service and cost. Now I'll feel even better about it because of the political aspect of my decision.

'Love thy neighbor' is one thing. The problem is HOW they want to 'love thy neighbor'

Amen!
Now they're calling it "sexual identity" instead of what it really is: Sexual preference aka sodomy. Sodomy is described in Webster's dictionary as "unnatural sexual intercourse, esp. between males or with an animal."
I blame Hollywood for much of today's perversions and liberals for bringing Hollywood's cause into politics.

"Promoting diversity is part of our corporate culture at FedEx," said William G. Margaritis, senior vice president, worldwide corporate communications. Diversity doesn't include homosexuality or that which is abhorrent deviant behavior. In fact, it is potentially harmful to the normal development of children. Diversity doesn't mean teaching young children about prostitution, pimping, bestiality, etc, and the wonderful effect of our getting-along-all-in-the-family attitude and tolerance have on these individuals.
However, indoctrinating young minds is a big part of the homosexual agenda under the disguise of diversity and tolerance. Their goal is to get into the minds of children as young as 5 years old through the school system.
