Thanks for explaining that, I was unaware of the controversy you mention. I was prompted to post when I noticed that no else had posted a map to the location of the grounding. My primary interest in this thread is nautical and technical.

His only real mistake so far was to include the name 'Clancy' the post he made way back in the thread.
1. I'm a sub-qualified ex-nuke.
2. Clancy's Submarine is not a novel - it's non-fiction and a not too bad overview of modern submarines and their operation. I thought it was well done, and ought to be required reading before non-submariners spout off on threads like this saying "Off with the captain's head!"
3. By my count it's now 'Couch Potatoes 4 - Know-it-alls 0' for Mudblood
