My prayers go out for his family and friends.

I thought Halliburton's headquarters were in Duncan, Ok or at least the people who work there seem to think so. I'm only about 15 miles from Duncan and have several friends who work for Halliburton in different capacities.

You may be right. The associated Press is not known for it's accuracy.

I only have one thing to say to legislators and people who constantly berate Halliburton. "Up yours".

I'm confused. Do you want the MSM to report this, or do you want the MSM to not report this? Sounds like, for you anyway, they're damned if they do, damned if they don't.

They have (or had) a research facility in Duncan, OK if I remember right.

It's not their job to make a "big deal" out of it. It's their job to report the facts related to the story and then move on to the next story. Frankly, I don't see how anyone can manage to put much airtime into a story that has laid dormant for 9 months and now has a tragic ending. I agree it's sad, but what do you expect the media to say or do about this? It's not exactly the big story of the day, "dontchya know". They'll report the fact that his body was found and move on, as they should. Sheeesh.

Halliburton has offices and subsidiaries in 40 states and probably as many countries, including dozens of offices in OK...but I believe their headquarters (US) is Houston.

I think the number of Halliburton deaths in Iraq is about 52. About April they stopped publishing regular updates. I think maybe it was beginning to upset the workers in Iraq and cause them to leave in very large numbers.

Anyway, this confirms the family's worst fears.

What's your problem? I can't post a sarcastic comment here?
You know perfectly well what I meant with the comment, and if you don't, let me spell it out for you.

The Main Stream Media (MSM) SUCKS.

People who hate Halliburton suck too.

Clear enough?

Am I the only one outraged by THIS..............

Behringer's lawyer, Charles Portz, said Friday that his client is considering suing Halliburton for negligence. Portz said Bradley has a criminal history and the company never should have hired him.

"If they hadn't sent him with a background like that, he'd still be here and alive," he said.

Bradley spent time in prison and was convicted of theft, escape and a felony sex crime during the 1970s and 80s, according to a May report in The Wichita (Kan.) Eagle.

The family is suing Halliburton because they should never have hired the guy? Heaven help us all.

I agree that he wasn't exactly a prime hire, but to sue Halliburton for for his death?
