Snowing in Vegas huh? My sister lives there. I'll have to call and leave her a voice message about it. I'm in Idaho and we're supposed to get the "storm of the century". So far we have beautiful sunny skies. If you go outside, you'll be blinded by the sun reflecting off of the snow.

Stay safe and be glad your snow will melt. (g)

The Pineapple Express has hit Reno...snowing like the dickens...not supposed to stop 'til Monday...another two feet on top of the two feet we got last week. Looks like another weekend of shoveling the white stuff.

It's raining in the eastern portions of Los Angeles County (.12" per hour at the moment.) The calibrated rain gauge is showing a quarter inch so far, the little garden tube is showing a little over an inch.

Wow! This is one heck of a storm, and the soil is saturated. I'm in the foothills just north of Burbank, and the storm channels are FULL. At ~08:30 a HUGE bunch of boulders and mud rolled down the channel into the debris basin -- shook the house. Things could get interesting if this keeps up like this.
