I just spoke with my Mom she lives in Summerlin (Las Vegas) and it is not snowing there, but it is 39 degrees, FYI

That's odd as Summerlin is a higher elevation than where I am in Las Vegas.
I am at Fort Apache & Tropicanica west of the 215 and it started snowing a little after 9:00am PST.
The flakes are largest I've ever seen. It is still snowing as I type this. I think our house is at 2450 feet.

Dang! However, 39 must be killing them. I'm in Pocatello, Idaho. They've changed our "warning" now to 1 inch tonight and freezing rain tomorrow. Just last night, they were saying over a foot. As usual I'll just have to wait until it happens to know for sure. (g)
