Actually this article is a bit deceiving due to the title. Of the original arrests 4 remain charged because they were seen on video quoting scripture.
See my post #68 for info from one of the accused. They are still waiting for a court date.
Agreed, name the DA that did this... how much you want to lay odds hes got a few "probes" going on of his own.
see my post #68 info from one of the accused.
Thank God that's over. This should not be let go, civil rights charges should be filed against the city.
YESSSS! But this won't be over until the prosecutor is voted firmly out of office, and better still, faces damages for abuse of office.
Hope he's learned his lesson and you're making him pay you back. Sometimes kids don't realize the consequences.
The title is the problem IMO. There were 11 arrested originally but four remain charged because they were seen quoting scripture on the video tape. The 4 are still waiting for a court date. See post#68 if you haven't already.
The author of the article didn't give enough detail IMO. Those who have been following the story already knew that some had been acquitted. The author fails to mention that charges are still pending for 4, crummy work if you ask me.
Religious persecution pure and simple.
Good thing there was a videotape.
It's not over, keep reading.
That article smelled fishy and is the worst kind of misdirection/misinformation.
Amazing.
Thanks, TS.
This is the first I've heard of the Philadelphia DA's office since the couple were arrested for giving Slick Willie the finger. Or was it when they condoned the assaults by the Teamster thugs. (It all runs together at times). In light of the fact that there was a video of this event it should be apparent that no crime had been committed. Sounds like an open and shut case of malicious prosecution and unlawful imprisonment.
Admin would it be possible to put in parentheses after the title (Charges still pending against 4) The author failed to mention some important info which is causing confusion here.
It was one (or more) of the 30-some thousand homosexual protestors who surrounded and threatened this small group (I think 11 people) of Christian counter-protestors.
The virulently anti-Christian DA of Phildelphia is a democrat hack and moral monster named Lynne Abraham.

Take back that request I just made to amend the title. Word from one of the accused is that they are still awaiting court date but amending the title would probably create more confusion.
Sorry.
Oooooh, 4 people quoting scripture was real threatening to 30-some thousand homosexuals.
If those 4 don't get off, Christians ought to stream into town and stand around the courthouse reading scriptures about justice.
Wow, simply amazing, actual justice for non-homosexuals.
BTTT!
