I missed it, too. This calls for another cup of coffee.

Why would John Edwards be there? He is no longer in the Senate.

Check the racist Hobert cartoon in the Boston Herald. Alberto Gonzales is depicted as the mouse Speedy Gonzales. HO HO, HA HA, what a bleepin' riot. He actually has Ted "Fatboy" Kennedy as the cat that will stop him. Can Kennedy ask Gonzales if it is more torturous to have panties on your head (Like Ted Kennedy at "traditional" Easter weekends in Palm Beach) or to suffocate in an air pocket of a submerged car over a period of fourteen hours.

He'll be confirmed. The Dems know Mexican voters have a loooong memory (at least 4 years long).

Know what I mean?

Chrissy on MSNBC and as they show (for the millionth time) picture after picture of Abu Ghraib, Chrissy is asked if it's fair to pin that on Gonzales and he says YES.

Chrissy says he'll be confirmed (he says this with regret) because "you can't really pin anything bad on him yet".

Does he hear himself?

We know he'll be confirmed.

The point is they're tring to tarnish his image so any prosections he brings against, say, Sandy Berger, are tainted.

Breaking News: Andrea Yates guilty conviction has been overturned by an appellate court?! The 3 judge panel made the decision.

Carl Cameron (who will forever be linked with John Kerry in my mind from now on) is reiterating the RATS hope to "dust up" Gonzalez to the extent that this or any other President won't be able to appoint him to the Supreme Court.

Is the Conyers-Boxer Freak show still on ???

It's "Attack of the Clowns" day in Washington. First, the 'Rats will trash the Latino nominee for AG, then they'll attack the Black SecState of Ohio, Ken Blackwell.

The 'Rats can squeal all they want. In the end, Gonzales will be AG, GWB will be President, KB will be SecState of Ohio, and they'll still be jackasses.

Sucks to be a 'Rat these days. How does it feel to get exactly what you deserve, 'Rats? Go and cry on Dan Rather's shoulder! BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

The dems will have their big guns trained on Alberto Gonzales. What does it take to get them to train them on the terrorists?

Good luck and God speed Alberto.

Never Forget!

Now Carl Cameron talking about the Electoral College tally. Boxer is confirmed as an objectioner. Along with 2 House RATS.

I personally find Boxer extremely objectionable. Anyway the session will have to be recessed, 2 hours of debate will ensue and Bush will be still be awarded the votes.

But it's good media drama, no?

Exactly. He is no real reporter or journalist (who is? we can count on one hand, it seems) as facts are nothing to him, spin is everything.

Yes, good media drama, and it will probably happen as Mr. Gonzales is testifying. Will we the public get to see his answers? Probably not...we will instead be treated to two hours of Bush-bashing by the Senate Rats.

Agree. Carl's star has lost some of it's shine, IMO.

Thanks for that news, I had MSNBC on.

Boxer's a go, Ella, confirming her place as the supreme twit of the Senate.

His priorities are major league messed up!

Miss Marple, I noted that the three panelists following Gonzales at today's hearing are all anti-Gonzales, too.

That scheduling plus this other nonsense about Ohio will serve to make this one of the most annoying and irrational days we've had since before Christmas.

We have to rebel and respond severely to ANY - I repeat ANY - factious and always racist comment against Attorney General nominee Alberto Gonzales. There's no room for undeserving discussions, we have the majority in Senate and we must use it without any compromise. In these days, the European press is full of interviews of Demon-rats and translations taken from American liberal newspapers. It's not only a campaign against the President, it's again a war to Conservatism.
