Oh give me a break. No wonder Republicans have a reputation for being uptight.

I wonder if Kid Rock voted Republican BEFORE he was influenced by Charlie Daniels Band?

Kid Rock might be a Vulger and Depaved SOB, BUT he has his heart in the right spot as far as this country is concerned. He is a conservative BUT he is not my brand of conservative.

New York Daily News gossip columnist Lloyd Grover reported on Kid Rock's support for Bush last July
This support, and his USO trips to Iraq, are a zillion times more important than his use of the "f-bomb".

The Bush Majority was much, much broader than the moral majorette types. If it hadn't been, he would gotten at most 20% of the vote.

Yeah, let Kid Rock sing. I understand his concerts are pretty good, although I've never been to one.

You are right on the money, bro. Kid Rock maybe vulgar and tacky, but hell... he's one of the few artists that actually love their country and support the troops.

"Anybody that knows anything about Kid Rock knows that his music is disgusting and vile, and Republicans, and most certainly the Christian Republicans that got Bush re-elected, should be appalled by this,"

I have no complaints with Kid Rock supporting the President.

as long as Kid Rock keeps his inauguration show clean I don't see why this is such a big deal. What would they have the organizers do - ban everyone who's ever used the f-word or engaged in vulgar conversation from the inauguration?

OK, I don't care for Kid Rock, but come on.... ITS A WORD!
I suppose you think we should kick Cheney off the ticket too because he drops F bombs?

I agree with the previous poster who mentioned this is why Republicans get the reputation as being prudes.

Why not save your protests for something important, like keeping Hillary or Kerry out of the White House in 08. All you will do by protesting Kid Rock is get him more fans.

I agree! What's everybody so uptight about? If this is a concern for the youth - and Barbara and Jenna are hosting - I would bet dollars to doughnuts it was the girls' idea. And .. since this is dad's last election party .. I think dad may have been a little more lenient. And .. how do we know that all the performers were not told to keep it clean ..??
