I'd like to see him on the Supreme Court.
That is my hope. There is such a thing as "judicial temperment". He has it. He doesn't bend the law. He works within it. He is, I think, exactly the kind of jurist that the founding fathers would have admired even if there were differences on points of law.
Now, in spite of his ability, it needs to be said that it won't happen. He's in his mid 60's. Rule of thumb is that a president wants at least 20 years out of an appointment. Doesn't always happen but I'll bet W doesn't nominate anyone under 55.
