Of course, all the free publicity had absolutely nothing to do with his decision to do this.

I heard Puff Daddy was going to bring the "Vote or Die" campaign over there but canned it when he realized they where going to blow themselves up either way.

"We don't need the Americans' intervention. We know who to elect. Not like them -- they elected a moron."
LOL. How come the same people who want to destroy Israel and America sound exactly like the liberals?

I'm speaking for the entire worldA little ego problem here, Richard? Speak for yourself.

Well, for once Reuters was honest! Great headline. That sums it up - what the heck is a silly American performer doing on their TV, announcing that he's channeling the world, and telling them what to do about their elections? Even Ali the Terrorist is probably just scratching his head in puzzlement.

"Hi, I'm Richard Gere and I'm speaking for the entire world. Talk about some ballz!
Sounds more like a horrible punchline to an awful joke.

Let's have a write-in campaign for Gere. We need t o educate the Palestinians that Gere's name in Arabic is Putz bin Shmuck

Nah, the vote or die campaign lost all steam when the kids who showed up to cheer for Kerry at free concerts didn't vote for him enmasse but didn't die. Puffy didn't quite think that one through.

Actors should never be allowed to read their publicists' press releases-they might start to believe them.

I had the same thought, West coast.
Man, Richard Gere has really turned into a self-important gas bag in his middle age!
