You don't think that screaming the Bible verse in post #5 at homosexuals is advocating violence?
You don't think that screaming the Bible verse in post #5 at homosexuals is advocating violence?
So now I am trying to imagine the Evangelicals screaming this verse like your hypothetical "Kill the King" or "Death to Infidels" examples. Close your eyes and imagine a crowd of hostile Evangelicals screaming over and over the bible passage from post 5:
"If a man lies with a male as with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination; they shall surely be put to death; their blood is upon them !!!!"
"If a man lies with a male as with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination; they shall surely be put to death; their blood is upon them !!!!"
Seems an unlikely scenario doesn't it? Moreover you are sighting a verse posted by a Freeper rather then one that was reportedly screamed at the protest, so I'm not sure why you would imply it happened outside of the need to support your arguments.
Perhaps screaming out slogans such as "Death to F**s!!!" would match your examples better, and I think might very well be grounds for arrest. However I see no reason to believe such a thing happened in this case. In my experience modern Christian preaching, even in the most extreme fire and brimstone examples, often calls for repentance and forgiveness and has never advocated violence or any other persecution.
