Why can't Terri's parents get "custody" of her (if that's the term)?
If that were my daughter they would have to kill me before I'd let the system kill her.

Because Michael refuses to divorce her and give her over to the family...she collapsed under questionable circumstances...it is in his best interest that she never be allowed to be rehabilitated!!

Guardianship proceedings were filed in September of 2002. Judge Greer has granted endless continuances. Further, even when depositions were scheduled for Michael Schiavo (which he was legally required to attend, and at which he would be required to answer questions under oath), Judge Greer has refused to punish Michael for refusing to show up.
