Turkey has the second largest and one of the fastest growing populations in Europe.
That just sounds wrong.

,,, if Fosters is all that good, shouldn't the whole hole world have it? The nukes can wait - give 'em Fosters, damn it!

Not sure, but it is a very refreshing beer. Crown Lager to Fosters is like a well made Leather Lounge Suite compared to an Ikea sofa. They will both do the same job, just one will give you more pleasure and enjoyment.

Isn't that the name of an adult bookshop chain ?

Only joking. Queensland is a great state.

,,, anything to make them swallow.

I've never tasted Canadian beer, but there's nothing wrong with Fosters. There's something wrong with Fosters on this side of the world: it's being brewed in Canada! Doesn't taste a thing like the true brew!
Actual Canadian beer: don't have a lot of experience with Canuckian brews, but Molson's Canadian is not bad and LaBatt's Blue will keep your kidneys from drying out.

Turkey has the same great beer as found in Germany, maybe even better. I used to have a six pack delivered three times a week when I lived there. The beer man was just like the old milk men in America. Reusable bottles.

You are right. If the total Turk population is considered European the Russian should also be. 1,Russia 2,Germany 3, Turkey

Hmm, I prefer stainless steel vats, but I guess a turkey will impart a distinct Thanksgiving-like flavor.

No, it goes something like this,
Foster's: Australian for p*ss! (Denoting both it's quality and the inevitable outcome...)

If you're drinking Fosters in the States, take another gander at where it's brewed.
You've tasted "Canadian" beer.

My theory is the further South one gets, the better the beer.
As a case in point, Sydney beer is better than Queensland beer. Melbourne beer is far superior to ANYTHING Sydney dishes up, but by far the best beer are the two brewed in Tasmania, Cascade and Boag's - both a delight to behold (& drink in largish quantities).

Whenever I'm in the States, I stick to Miller. It's a good brew.

I agree with you. But your Latitudinal Theory of Beer Quality is definitely disproved by the Kiwis' DB Draught. I once tried some from a visiting backpacker from Dunedin. It was about as refreshing as finding a mirage in a desert. The South Island of New Zealand is more southerly than Van Diemens Land I'm sure.
They should set up a micro-brewery on Macquarie Island.
