Not true. Most pedophiles will go to Cambodia, not Thailand. Thailand it will get you 5 to 20 years in a Thai jail. In Cambodia very little will happen to you even if caught.

You know, I am as much against peophelia as anyone (who wouldn't be), but this article really has no facts to support such an allegation. This mustachioed man may be anything but. It is possible that he is only helping a young man who may not even know any of his family is alive, and may not even know his own identity after this trauma.
So why don't we relax until all the facts are in and maybe out of the chaos of the aftermath of the tidal wave might come a tale of redemption, not abomination.
Let's give it another day or so and see how the story ends.

OK, on a thread I read yesterday there were one or two defenders of Thailand, claiming the problem of child prostitution was no worse than here in the U.S. If that were true, then why didn't we read about these types of concerns and incidents during all those hurricanes in Florida last year? Some, not all, tourists go to Thailand specifically to prey on young girls and boys.
It's stunning that a man would take advantage of a young boy who had just lived through the most terrifying ordeal of his young life and no doubt believes his entire family to be dead. I'm (almost) speechless.

Why would he take the boy out of the hospital, instead of leaving him where family could more easily find him?
