And, thanks to these efforts, we'll have "revote" calls in the next Presidential election. Nice going, guys...

You need to follow this one a little more closely.

There is a difference between first degree murder and killing in self defense. although anyone accused of the former can claim the latter, it don't make it so, nor should the truly innocent simply accept their punishment without a fight.

Gore was NEVER ahead in “Floriduh 2000”. In this statewide contest, Republican Rossi held a lead of 261, then by 42 in a second count. Finally in a third count, Democrat Chris “Gre-Gore” Gregoire reversed Dino Rossi’s win by gaining 171 votes in a statewide hand recount, most of those votes were suspiciously “found” in King County. That county is a democrat stronghold and there are so many irregularities it makes Floriduh pale by comparison...but fraud seems to be a tough, laborious case to prove. We need to move on and declare a CLEAR winner.

Gregoire has certainly tarnished her reputation and turned off plenty of her (previous) supporters. However, no matter who prevails, either "winner" would be tainted by doubt and not considered a legit governor. This revote makes sense despite your fear of it setting a precedent for a U.S. presidential race.
