Instead [of this being a victory against terrorism], a portrait emerges of Lakhani as little more than a 68-year-old failed clothing merchant who, desperate for money and full of bluster, stumbled into a highly orchestrated sting at a time when the United States was eager for success against terrorism.

How does this 'support' Lakhani? He was a failed broker that traveled the world getting into all sorts of deals (even oil...I found a very interesting broker connection there)

(1) Lakhani ought to be treated like the mass murderer he so very much wanted to be

No one here said he SHOULDN'T be.

(2) it doesn't matter who Rehman is.

YES it does! And if you don't want to explore that, please go to another thread.

Rehman has connections all the way back to Pakistan with drug lords. He is on a wanted list here, HE contacted the Russian officials to set up this missile sting (only OUR STATE Depart. can do that) and federal agents said NOT to use him.

Now go post to someone that is as quick as you.

Maybe it's just me but, I can't imagine too many people demanding the death penalty for failed clothing merchants who stumble into highly-orchestrated government stings.

Now go post to someone that is as quick as you.

Now, as I should have replied back when you started the pissing match with your little "if you go back and read the article" comment, go      yourself.
