This was heavily rumored at one point yesterday, but no one was familiar with the source.

We need an index, or formula, that rates "al-Zarqawi Captured" threads by the number of FR posts until the Pentagon denial.

The higher the number, the better the rumor.

This thread rates a FR/alZ 103-not bad.

This story has hit about 8-10 times in the last year-and-a-half.

More like the last day and a half. :-)

"PENTAGON NOT COMMENTING ON MID-EAST PRESS REPORTS... DEVELOPING..."

That's promising! Hope and pray it's true, but don't get your hopes up quite yet.

Humm, for some reason I thought we had him for awhile to confirm it was really him. I was wrong.

Bremer: Ladies and gentlemen. We got him!

Saddam Hussein was captured Saturday, December 13th, at about 8:30 p.m. local in a cellar in the town of Abduar which is about 15 kilometers south of Tikrit.

was also reported by Iraqi Kurdistan radio, which at one time had been the first to announce the arrest of Saddam Hussein.

Here's one DUmmie response: "Nothing on Al-Jazeera or Al-Aribiya...".

It's not true until they speak.

#2 "I don't think we were trying very hard to catch him."

I'd expect no less from a DUer.

Source Pravda. (unggh)

"The report quotes Kurdish sources. There has been no official conformation of the report. However, the exact sources have once informed the world about the arrest of former Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein."

Does anyone knows if Al Bayan broke the Saddam story as claimed? If so that might lend some credibility to the rumor.

There is not enough tinfoil in the world for those nut cases over at DU

What these DUmmies and conspiracy dolts don't understand is that Alcoa/Reynolds wrap is in on the whole conspiracy. They sell the modified tinfoil to the general public which allows mind control waves through but they keep the really good stuff for the Illuminati, Knights Templar, Masons, Trilateral Commission, Republicans, Karl Rove, Council on Foreign Relations and Pat Buchanan...

If Saddam was arrested about 2030 local time and that's 8 hours ahead of us, it would have been 230 Sat afternoon here. If we first heard about it Sunday morning (it was around 6-7 am, right? All I know is I turned on the TV that morning around 9 and it was all over the place), then we had him for about 17 hours before news really snowballed.

So we very rightly could have nabbed him hours ago, last night even, and the news is just starting to come out now. Of course I desperately want this to be true. :)

I third it with the codicil that NO Vaseline or KY jelly is given to Zarcoward and when he is dead, he's given a proper burial buried in the carcass of a pig.

Neal Boortz is saying the initial report is coming from Kurdistan radio. This is the same radio that first reported the capture of Saddam Hussein.

[That makes it sound better than the initial entry on the Iraqi anti-occupation website yesterday.)

Excellent idea...provided his remains are buried in a pig skin...got to prevent that afterlife encounter with 72 virgins.

The DU cult is truly sick, but good for fundraising for any boogyman or tall tales their "leaders" frighten them with.

Very sad.

This morning on Fox they talked about searching a new area for Bin Laden, wonder if we are not confirming this story so we can find out more if we have Abu whats his face.
