That M25 is ridiculously overpriced.

For that money, you'd be better off to buy a rack-grade M1A, send it to one of the Camp Perry armorers, and get him to put the match package in it. If that's a Springfield scope on it, you can do better than that, too, for that amount of money. Also, they've deleted the iron sights - not on MY match rifle, you don't, faggot.

I completely agree that a .308 battle rifle better have iron sights on it. My bolt guns are mostly scoped with no iron sights. The semi-auto "battle" rifle genre e.g. Mini-15, AR-15, SKS are equipped with Williams peep sights. Scopes can break and have a fairly narrow field of view. Fine if your job is "sniper" and you have a spotter to watch the wider field around the designated target. You need to fast pickup and broader field of view of iron sights for general use.

I still don't have a semi-auto .308. An M1A Scout would be satisfactory. The FN-FAL is commonly available in my local shops. That's satisfactory too.
