I signed the revote petition yesterday, but I doubt if it will do any good considering the DNC controls the legislature and the media. It is amazing FRAUD and we really need help in the state to clean the rats out and finally have some fair assessment of what has happened. Lots of PDX folks have come our way. So far, our state is totally controlled by the DNC and they have their hands in everyone's pocket. Taxes never stay the same or go down in Clark County, always up.

You have the 'Do Something' disease. What exactly would you like Vance to do? Challenge the election? He might well do that, but that's up to Rossi. Other then that, there isn't anything he CAN do.

he has no plans to try to account for 452 extra poll, absentee and provisional votes.
"It would be a huge task," Kimsey said.

For my money, I would prefer that Rossi lose in a tainted election with voters suspect of the Rats and then run in 06 against Maria Cantwell and beat her pants and further the Republican control of the Senate.

What makes you think, if Rossi wimped out now when we in this state really needs him, that we'd want him to represent us in the US Senate? Dino isn't abandoning us nor are we him. The stance you're qouting was started by DU trolls.

My stance is not for him to drop out of the race, more power too him. My only position as a not Washingtoner is I'd rather have another Senate seat in the U.S. Congress.

And Dornan never did get a fair hearing on the matter, nor was anything done to bounce that snake Sanchez out of the seat she stole from him. Sanchez didn't even live in Dornan's district. She rented a place there but never occupied it. Dornan's people had proof that the utilities were never even turned on.

It appears that third world countries aren't the only ones that need independent oversight of the elections process.

I've been watching it from Virginia. Never in your life would you believe such transparent cheating. It has been
amazing how "in your face" the Dems are with fraud up there.

GO ROSSI !!

The 1,000 to 1,500 unaccounted for ballots expected in King Co. after the voter list is updated is alone enough to turn the election back to Rossi--if these unaccounted for ballots are assumed to be invalid and break in the same proportion for Gregoire and Rossi as the rest of King Co. did.

I certainly hope that explanations such as your have been in front page articles of the Seattle newspapers. It is important that every citrizen knows how many checks are in place to assure no ballot "stuffing."

According to one of the other pieces, the King County officials have explained that their anomolies stem from their practice of counting provisional ballots in the precinct where cast, rather than in the precinct where the voter was registered.

If this is indeed the case, given that there's still no list of who all voted, what checks can possibly exist to prevent provisional-ballot stuffing?

Allowing provisional ballots to be cast in anything other than the correct precinct is a bad idea except in possible cases where a voter showed up at the polling location given by a mis-printed registration card (and even there it's iffy). Even in those cases, however, counting such ballots in anything other than the voter's registered precinct is a recipe for disaster.

Perhaps someone should bring an 'equal protection' challenge on the basis that the rules in Democrat counties allow cheating while people in Republican counties aren't awarded the same opportunities.

Now this person is saying we've got people IN THE BOOK voting provisional. I'm actually surprised that they would be so open about double voting.

Actually, if provisionals were forwarded to a voter's registered precinct for counting, they could be rejected if the voter already voted [the voter should be given notice when this happened, so that if someone else filled in a fraudulent provisional on his behalf it can be brought to light]. Given that they're not, though, I don't see how double-voting can be prevented.

Restricting out-of-precinct provisional ballots to cases where voters received mis-printed registration cards, however, would likely make this largely a non-issue.

Now we are hearing that the provisional ballots, whether verified and legitimate on not were put in with the regular absentee ballots and ran through as regular votes. They are finding that one set of handwriting type matches for hundreds of provisional ballots. What we have is the "F"-word to describe Washington's election: WIDESPREAD VOTER FRAUD.

This statement sums it all up: Without justice there is no freedom and without freedom there is no justice.

...or even any enforcement of existing laws, which are supposed to prevent ballot tampering?

Why are people signing a voting book (voting at the polls) when they "actually voted a provisional ballot"?

A provisional ballot is voted at the polls, and the voter usually votes one because his name is not in the book.

If the name is in the book there is no reason for a provisional ballot. Fraud for sure!

Being back from holiday vacation in a remote rural area where I listened to roosters crowing and the only meaningful news was a deer becoming a casualty via a moving vehicle, I'm glad to get an update. Been wondering who the next governor of WA will be. Guess I can keep wondering.

this "revote" business is pure nonsense. It plays like a whiny little kid wanting a do over. It's asinine considering that there were 3500 more votes counted than voters who voted. *and from what iv'e read it seems like King County is the only county who has this "problem" at.
This garbage needs to be challenged up front as what it is - absolute fraud.
Anything else is B.S.
Probably ought to impeach the guy who certified the elcetion, seeign as he was aware of the discrepencie, or at the very least sack his *ss for incompetance.
