Bush's elevation of Clinton to elder statesman today was disgusting, as was his father's over-the-top praise of x42 at his adult bookstore grand opening. Bush also pissed me off with telling Americans to "send cash" over to Tsunamiland, when 90% of the "cash" is going to be stolen by the corrupt bureacrats. Only Christian charities with a direct presence in specific areas should be funded, but that's not what bush is doing. For Bush to be giving at least $75 million of your tax-dollars to U.N.-administrated organizations (such as UNRWA, which is allied with Palestinian terrorists), at a time when the U.N. is stonewalling us on SaddamGate, is disgraceful.

My thoughts are different. I thought Bush's appointment of both 41 and 42 to the tsunami team was an act of political genius. It takes the tsunami off the political table and makes both parties responsible for the outcome. Furthermore, from what I heard on Fox this evening, the emphasis is on private rather than government contributions.

I think they should hold a post-election competition, a semi-political telethon, where people can contribute their tsunami dollars as Republicans, Democrats, or whatever. Then we can see who puts their money where their mouth is.

Where the hell do you think the money is going? Didn't you hear Bush's speech this morning?
