My Dad was something special. I really miss him.

Now on a more somber note. My Dad may soon be reunited with his younger brother Carl.

My Dad and his 2 brothers were in the Navy during WWII. They enlisted together. I don't know what his brothers did in the service but since they were licensed electricians I suspect they had their trades employed as did my Dad.

Uncle Carl has been in poor health for a number of years. I got word yesterday that he is in the hospital again and not expected to make it this time. He is down to skin and bones.

Loosing another member of the WWII generation is so sad but considering the age range of this group of Veterans it is an understandable tragedy.

Prayers for him and his family would be appreciated.
