Your table, with the outsized donations to Republicans from Restaurateurs, demonstrates why Bush is pushing amnesty. Hooters employs not only buxom nubile American citizen as waitresses, but in the kitchen hordes of illegal aliens. The National Restaurant Association is part of the Republican cheap labor illegal alien exploiter lobby, and Bush dances to their tune.

Bush meets with National Restaurant Association.

National Restaurant Association Public Policy Issue Briefs

Position: The National Restaurant Association believes that, besides securing the nation's borders, U.S. immigration policy should match willing employers with willing employees. Individuals who work hard, pay taxes and contribute to the U.S. economy deserve an opportunity to earn legal status….

Thanks for posting the chart. It's good to see some common sense occasionally.

I believe that this reflects only good business sense. Restaurants do well in a growing and thriving economy, and are very susceptible to economic downturns, therefore, they support Pubbies.

Actually, it's quite entertaining watching the middle-aged guys try to act cool. LOL. Don't get upset - I'm a 52 year old married woman and I have no complaints at all about Hooters. Just wish I knew where I could get one of those bras! lol

I used to go there quite often when I was a little younger, and I used to think one particular waitress was really into me, too. They can be quite friendly! I don't think the food is much to write home about, except for the wings. But then, you don't go for the food; you really go for the scenery! It's a good place to see a ballgame, too.

When I see posts like this and the guys true colors come out.....all I think about is 'hypocrits'. I don't want to hear how they consider themselves 'conservative', or about how morals in this country are going down the tubes, or how TV and the Media are out of control. It's the people like the supporters of hooters that we should thank for our out of control teenage sex, mass abortions and pornography gone rampant.

"Hooters Contributes to Republicans!"

It's only fair, considering how much this Republican has contributed to Hooters.
