I would like to offer this apology to freepers that were on a chiropractic thread earlier today. I made some comments I knew to be false and I know upset some people. I did this because I had a very bad morning and was in a foul mood. Please accept this apology. I am sure if you were on the thread you know what I am refering to. If not, thats ok, I apologize anyway! Have a great weekend and a wonderful year.

That's big of you, but now you've peaked my interest and I want to read the thread and see who you insulted :)

LOL.
I went and looked and unless I'm missing something, it was quite innocent.

My wife recently had a bad experience with a chiropractor. I was on the phone with him for a full 20 mins giving him the "what for". He threatened to take us to court over a $245 dollar charge that our insurance REFUSED to pick up.
I told him all I need to do was make couple of calls to some associates in New Jersey and everything would be "fixed real soon."
He waived all charges and gave us some nifty gift certificates to Big Lots for Christm---err, holiday season. Worked out great.

I know upset some people. I did this because I had a very bad morning and was in a foul mood. Please accept this apology. You may take this as official notification that your invitation to join the Curmudgeons Union is withdrawn. You may reapply in 5 years at which time we will reexamine your work.

Well said! I've had to retract a few statements in my time too. You handled it very well.

Well, don't you feel better now? I didn't read it either but I'm sure you didn't mean it. You seem like a really nice FReeper! I, for one, accept your apology with sincere regret that I don't know what you did wrong.

The people you responded to were the ones who should say they are sorry.
Chiro's have helped me many, many times.
I was told if I didn't have neck surgery within 30 days I would be in a wheel chair.
I started going to a Chiro, that was 15 years ago, still no operation.

One can tell that you are not a democrat..democrats never apologize unless a lawyer advises them to do so.

Sorry you acted like such a pelvis but glad you were able to 'snap' out of it--it really shows backbone. Sometimes the 'necked' truth comes to us after we put the left foot in and pull the left foot out and shake it all about....

I found the offending statement in question:
"CA require[s] Chiropractors to go to med school before they can become a Chiropractor."
Whew, that was bad alright. You should've pushed the 'abuse' button on yourself and got that lie removed from cyberspace.
