ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) - A teenager fell six stories Friday after trying to leap from one parking garage to another, but suffered only a broken shoulder and other fractures. Timothy Bargfrede, 18, of Longwood, and a friend realized they were at the wrong parking garage, so the friend jumped from one roof to the other, about a 2 1/2-foot leap, Orlando police Lt. Orlando Rolon said.
Bargfrede fell when he tried to jump, and became wedged six stories down between the two buildings. Firefighters had to cut through the concrete to free him, Rolon said.
"He's very lucky to be alive," said his father, Tim Bargfrede.

Couldn't make a 2.5 foot leap and got lodged between the bldgs. Why do I get the impression he's rather large?

so the friend jumped from one roof to the other, about a 2 1/2-foot leap, 2 1/2 feet! That's a normal pace, not a "jump".
Was our teenager a paraplegic?

And so are the people they could have killed if they had driven drunk.

I hope they make the little booger pay for the damage that was done by the Firefighters cutting through the concrete.

I looked for a "Dumb Question" thread, and couldn't find one, so:
Why does "Loose lips sink ships." appear on the posting page? Nobody seriously thinks classified material is posted here, do they?
To: BenLurkin
"Dude, like, where's my car"?
"Like, dude, I dunno, like, you know what I mean"?
"Whoa, dude, I like, think you' re like parked in the wrong, like, garage, dude"!
Like, let's not , like go all the way back down those stairs, dude, like, let's like, jump"!
Awesome, dude!

" 2 1/2 feet! That's a normal pace, not a "jump". Was our teenager a paraplegic?" Was he? No. Is he now? Maybe.
To: BenLurkin
Yup. Sounds like something dumb I would've done 25 years ago.

It first appeared after 9/11.
You're right -- no FReeper is likely to post classified information. The problem (I think) form the Mods point of view is that other information which is not classified could be posted.
The mods don't want FR to become a 'freebie" for bad guys who are too lazy to collect and analyze this "open source" intelligence themselves .

It's not necessarily an issue of "classified material" but some people here have knowledge of things that might benefit terrorists (or democrats for that matter). I think it's good to have a little red reminder that anyone and everyone could be reading.
