After WW2, my wife's grandfather was sent to dump crates of garands still packed in cosmoline in a creek.Idiots giving orders was a real hazard back in the days of the draft. I wonder if stupidity like that still goes on?

Bunches of perfectly serviceable M-14s were destroyed during the Idiot Clinton's administration. Wouldn't want then equipped with new semi-auto receivers (or for that matter having blocks welded in to make then permanently semi-auto) and sold to us peons now.
