Their hypothesis: America is turning into a bunch of fundamentalists .. because the Evangelicals made the difference in this election and it's *VERY* frightening.

What blather and swill. Just because we love America, value her and our traditions, and are protective and defensive about ANY enemies who dare trample on her or hurt us .. we're so angry and "skeeeery." "We have a serious problem in this country. We have to restore the center. People care how we're thought of overseas. It's so worrisome." Get ready to laugh out loud.

I wish we WERE becoming more fundamentalist, like in the "old days", (say 50 years ago), when it was safe for kids(and teachers) to go to schools, Sundays were universally known as "church day", people cringed at the simple tv picture of Elvis shaking his hips on tv, and so on.

There are schools in this country, NYC-LA kind of schools, where Muslim students are allowed to throw down prayer mats up to 3 times a day and fall on their faces in prayer. Christians are not allowed to even pretend to pray over lunch without being expelled.

The Dem Party that threw 3500 ballots into a King County in WA more than the number of registered voters in that county - are EXTREMISTS! and anti-American extremists at that. Blame America firsters are extremists. The Congr. Black/Communist caucus, are extremists. Yes - many extremists. Many who HATE this nation.

My wife works for Bob Evans and on Christmas Eve, people were constantly asking her
if they were going to be open on Christmas. When she told them no, ALL were very upset.
For pete's sake they only shut down the store two days out of 365, and people were ticked off.
Don't they think people would like to be at home with their families on Christmas?

It's the utter selfishness that pervades our society in so many ways today that disturbs me.
Manners are a thing of the past. People use the most vile language in public,
and if you call them on it, you better be ready for a fight. I don't know how society
can ever be rehabilitated, but I know it must be or we are doomed.
