The idea is to restore the rule of law by changing the law to reflect what the people want. Once done, the illegal immigration problem will become manageable again using the resources currently being applied to the problem.
yea, just like in 86, the last time we "fixed" the illegal immigration problem.
.......and your accusing nanak of dreaming.
restore the rule of law
Rewarding lawbreaking while others are trying to follow the law to get into this country is not fair and doesn't set a good example for future immigrants.
changing the law to reflect what the people want.
I believe that most Americans want illegals deported especially when they find out how much their cheap labor is actually costing them.
the illegal immigration problem will become manageable again using the resources currently being applied to the problem
There is no guaranties that this will happen. Once illegals are given the word that even some of them can stay, more will just pour in maybe even in greater numbers.
Pray tell...when was "illegal immigration" ever considered "manageable"? Was it when Terrorism was "just a nuisance"?
Has bank robbery ever been considered "manageable"? Rape? Arson? Drug posession?
So just why are some criminals "more equal than others"?
