Folks--

I realize many troops, including families, visiting FR and would like to share our recent photos while in NYC--Rockefeller Center. It was chilly, but as always, NYC shared its warmth and beauty.

To all our servicemembers and support staff-- this one is for you! Please, enjoy. Visit http://community.webshots.com/user/luzsa2004

(see "nyc holiday 2004" album)

Thanks for all you do. Whoooah!
-Andy

ps: if you're from Philly or Baltimore, will be posting photos (skyline; innner harbor) from those places, shortly.

Thank you for sharing your pictures. I work in NYC and pass by these places all the time and never really get to view them the way they should be viewed. I guess I'm so used to them year after year but its nice to see them in pictures. :-)

Very nice pics! Not only do you have a keen eye with the camera, you do get around. Looks like you had beautiful weather here in the Tampa Bay area too.

Mack, THANK YOU soooo much for these wonderful pictures of NY at Christmas time. I'm sure our troops will enjoy the beautiful sights.
I'm a NY'r, now living in the Tampa Bay area, and I miss NY terribly. The pics of Rockefeller Center bring back such wonderful memories. Thanks again for sharing!
Have a happy, healthy New Year!

Hi Nauti! Hope you had a wonderful Christmas and wish you a happy, healthy and prosperous New Year!
Recent cool weather in Tampa Bay seems a bit(just a bit! lol) like NY weather...without the snow!

I was going to say the same thing. I work in Rock Center. It's really a special place at Christmas time. It's nice to see the joy on people's faces as they gather under the tree.

Thanks, friend girl! Back at you for the warm Christmas and New Year wishes. I kind of enjoyed breaking out the sweatshirts and sweaters for a couple of days.

Back into shorts and t-shirt again today. Dang--did you get those wicked winds the other morning? Thought I was having a hurricane nightmare again!

'...wicked winds...'

Yes, we, too, thought another hurricane or a tornado was close...weird. But, you're right, TODAY is a BEAUTIFUL day! My husband calls it a Chamber of Commerce day! lol.
Maybe sometime in '05 we can have another Freeper luncheon with Julie, Lenni et al.
Are you going to the Inauguration?

Musket, All:

Glad you're enjoying. And, you thought I'd forget our friends at FNC? Not a chance. Just as we headed for Madison Sq Garden, took this shot --

see album "fnc in nyc"

I've added it to the "NYC holiday 2004" album too (see URL @ top & in my sig line)... after all, what's NYC by picture if FNC ain't included!?

Thanks for the heads up.
