Not all punk is Leftist. One of the Ramones (Joey?) was very much a right winger. And The Dead Kennedys were far from Leftist. "Holiday in Cambodia" is a great anti-Communist song.
I'm actually a little surprised that Green Day turns out to be a bunch of leftist wankers. Oh, well... I've been wrong before...
And the Dead Milkmen too for that matter.
Jello knows that the Democrats have no solution unfortunately he is to the left of them and also is quite content to be the court jester pissing off 98% of the population.
I read an interview with him from 2000 that was reasonably good (pre-911) and another from this month that I may actually type in to show just how stoopid the left really is. He seems to blame Tipper Gore's censorsh!t madness on Ronald Reagan. He admits that Kerry and Edwards were both lousy candidates, but in part he came to that assessment because they didn't spout kook theories about Bush/Cheney.
I met/partied with the "Ed" Kennedys on their recent reunion tour and enjoyed my time with them. Jello went looney and doesn't seem to have been too good with the books, neither.
Johnny was the right winger (no doubt in his conviction) but there is mythology because reportedly Joey and Johnny didn't talk after Johnny stole his girlfriend (as was quite common) yet still reportedly Johnny convinced Joey to vote for Reagan (twice?). Joey was more moderate in his politics according to Marky and CJ.
Why neighbor....I'm shocked that you even know who the Dead Kennedys are. I'd never guessed.
