"Tonight in the news: a UN report has stated that the US's work to replace dishes and loose flowers has been 'stingy.'"

It's the Bible passage essentially stating nobody knows when the Second Coming will be, you'll be totally surprised by it, don't bother trying to figure it when it will be, and assume it can happen at any time.

I wasn't there for it. Relatives were tho.
Hope taking some ribbing doesnt bother you.
Actually I am wondering if the bad weather in California and Alaska isn't somehow related to the tidal surge or rise in the waters surface from the underground earthquake on the 26th

The only reason that I felt that this was newsworthy was due to the fact that it is in an area that isn't known for earthquake activity.

Being a second generation Californian I have been in numerous big quakes.

I've always figured that. I guess I'm cool with the Lord.

...and my reference to volcanoes gassing was about a thread earlier tonight where a volcano which has been gassing for a LONG time was posted about as if it were breaking news.
I think in the wake of the tragedy some of this stuff could get out of hand. But then again, it might all be related, too.

My theory is that Mamouth Mountian is awakening from her extended nap.

Matthew 24:36-44

36‘
But about that day and hour no one knows, neither the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.

37
For as the days of Noah were, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.

38
For as in those days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day Noah entered the ark,

39
and they knew nothing until the flood came and swept them all away, so too will be the coming of the Son of Man.

40
Then two will be in the field; one will be taken and one will be left.

41
Two women will be grinding meal together; one will be taken and one will be left.

42
Keep awake therefore, for you do not know on what day your Lord is coming.

43
But understand this: if the owner of the house had known in what part of the night the thief was coming, he would have stayed awake and would not have let his house be broken into.

44
Therefore you also must be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an unexpected hour.

Long Valley Caldera has been pretty quiet for years since the late 90s. This latest quake was well outside the Caldera area anyway.

Northern Nevada has had 100 tremors as of yesterday between the 25th and 28th. None of them have been large, but the numbers are startling.

I agree,, the thing is ? if the USA were hit by a bad earthquake, the rest of the world will just ignore us, and say to us " you have enough money, your the wealthiest country in the world, fix it yourself " .
