That wouldnt surprise me one bit.
On a similiar thread last night I remarked that the big quake followed a similar event near Antartica by only a few days. Now this....
The "Ring of Fire" could be warming up big time.

Wouldn't surprise me. Seems that event over in Asia has amazing consequences to the planet.

The recent quake shoved a large piece of the mantle in far enough to speed the planet's rotation by 3 microseconds... I would think that pressure would have to be let off somewhere. I do not know if it is the same plate. It is more likely we are seeing patterns in coincidence.

No. The volcanos in that region on both sides of the Pacific are very active and have been for many years. That there are constant volcanic eruptions in Alaska and Siberia isn't news because nobody lives there.

I'd agree with that idea.

Uggh......It's the "Attention Effect" again.

At any given moment there are at least 12 active volcanoes on the planet. 99% of the time there's no mainstream media articles on them and nobody is posting about them on FR.

Shiveluch is a very active volcano. It's been erupting for quite some time in 2004.

Shiveluch also erupted in 1999, 1998, 1997, 1990, 1989, 1988, 1986, 1985, 1984, 1980, and 1964, and that's just a partial listing.

Problem is the likes of Lies666 and other apocalyptikooks attempt to promote the idea that "normal" is no volcanoes erupting, and any geological activity anywhere in the world is unusual and Sign of the End Times.
