Getting ready now to visit dad at the hospital will check in again tonight.
God Bless you all and Happy New Year
Prayers for all to go well, and your Dad's swift and remarkable recovery! The Happiest New Year to you, and all those in your country, snugs!
Thanks for the good wishes, snugs.
I'm praying for your Dad but know first hand that time is needed for antibiotics to work, and for test results to come in.
I had the most talkative roommates when I was Hospitalized in early September. They were either talking with their adult children who ignored visiting hours, OR talking on the phone with everyone they knew. I live alone - and so am not used to talking that much NOR hearing someone talking with every person they know, every day! I thought I would go nuts.
Then they were sicker than I - and with the second one I had, they would check her Bp at 4 AM and finding it high, start "working on her", lights would go on and that was the end of my "night's" sleep. I couldn't wait to get home to get a full solid 7 hours of sleep! But before they let me go, I thought I was going to go nuts.
So, I'm praying for your Dad - I don't think any of us "enjoys" being in the Hospital; whether it's the tests, the interruptions, the lights, the general inconvenience and the loss of privacy, there is always something upsetting and different from our normal routine going on.
I'll pray not just for his healing but for his peace of mind.
May 2005 be a better year for your family and mine!
God bless you and yours.
