Apparently 1.35 million dollars.

The EU has pledged to give 41 million dollars, but I don't think any of the current numbers are very relevant. It's still very early to evaluate the costs in human life, so when it comes to damaged property and needed goods you can imagine it will take months to compute the final tab.

The UN and red cross are jockeying to show the US is NOT involved! The UN is pulling the al hague "I am in charge" BS in order to make them look good and the USA look uninvolved.

The Rush Subhost is saying we are going around the UN but the BBC and CNN international is ONLY focusing on the UN as the leader of disaster relief.
