Election Day--just two days after adjournment of the NAME conference--brought them great disappointment.



GOOD!!!!! They need to Educate children, and stop indoctrinating them. Schools need to become another place where people, namely teachers and administrators, cannot present their own political views. Teach the to read, write, and do math! History is history, and should not be rewritten to reflect their political views either.

In other words, they want kids taught WITHOUT values. Any so called values, which do not contain morality, are no values at all.

You are absolutely right! Parents who think information is not serious, or that those who are informing them of it, are extremists or alarmist or both, PLEASE reconsider you position. My son is out of school now, but I pulled him out of public and he attended a charter school. Even still, come the day I have grandchildren, I do not want them exposed to this agenda. The very people who profess to have the best interest of our children at heart, are the ones poised to do the most damage.

This is not just the problem of parents. Make no mistake! These children, all the nations children, are the future of our nation. And what these teachers are teaching them is damaging them, as sure as any form of sexual exploitation or abuse would. Everyone should be concerned.

Perhaps a full disclosure of all the evidence that can be found, should be forwarded via messenger or something like that, to the White House and to Mrs. Cheney. Both have a tremendous interest in education. And as it said in this article, the White House, is not backing these so called programs of theirs. Maybe our President needs to place a overseer in this group.

In MA the governor mandated the teachers begin (again) to teach phonics, as too many kids cannot read. They are still refusing, after 2 years have passed, to teach phonics. Instead they are still utilizing the word recognition techniques, even though it's widely known it does not work. Kids cannot read or spell when they graduate high school.

It does seem like the schools are refusing to teach middle class values or the history of the USA or the Constitution. Middle class values means you work hard for what you expect to have --- you won't have everything, but you'll have enough to live on and a little left over --- what's so wrong with that? Upper class values are fine if you inherit money, lower class values mean a life of welfare handouts.
