Recipe for a Happy New Year
To leave the old with a burst of song To recall the right and forgive the wrong; To forget the thing that binds you fast To the vain regrets of the year that's past; To have the strength to let go your hold Of the not worthwhile of the days grown old, To dare to go forth with a purpose true, To the unknown task of the year that's new; To help your brother along the road To do his work and lift his load; To add your gift to the world's good cheer, Is to have and to give a Happy New Year.

Agreed! Tom, I told you we don't have a vision plan as part of our health insurance. You gotta warn me before you do something like that so I don't sustain some type of retinal shock. Ouch! ;)

I think we should require an IQ test, along with a background check, before issuing gun permits. ROFL! Hubby was telling me that one of the questions on the Federal firearms permit is "Are you an idiot?" (meaning "one who has no self-control). I just wonder if anyone's ever answered "yes" to that!! He he he!
