Recipe for a Happy New Year
To leave the old with a burst of song To recall the right and forgive the wrong; To forget the thing that binds you fast To the vain regrets of the year that's past; To have the strength to let go your hold Of the not worthwhile of the days grown old, To dare to go forth with a purpose true, To the unknown task of the year that's new; To help your brother along the road To do his work and lift his load; To add your gift to the world's good cheer, Is to have and to give a Happy New Year.

((HUGS))Good morning, Beach.
First off, for everybody, today is Norton Update Day. be sure to downoload them when they arrive.
Secondly, OSU plays Ohio State in the Alamo Bowl in San Antonio. May the best team win?
My brother and his family left for upstate t visit his mother-in-law so everything's back to normal. As for the weather, it's in the 40's this morning forecast to reach the mid 60's.

Good morning Everyone. Good morning to all of our great Military personnel, past and present, our Allies and their families. What would the world be if not for special people such as yourself?
Thank you Spotsy for opening the doors to the Canteen and fixing a beautiful spread. My gosh Spotsy, it seems your Pancakes on Wednesday gets better and better! Really nice layout!
Well, I'm sure I've missed quite a bit while gone. I still haven't caught up on the past threads. We've been having some difficulty with our cable service. I could not get an internet connection yesterday morning. It seems there are more and more days when we don't have a good picture on the TVs and/or no internet connection. I am getting frustrated. Comcast just raised our rates, again, and still no better service. We are now going to start keeping track of how many days we have bad reception and/or cannot get internet connection. I am going to start complaining LOUD & CLEAR!
Funny thing is that when hubby called Comcast yesterday (of course Comcast said they'd send out a tech on Thursday), today the internet works and reception on tv is very good. I will be sure to let the tech know when they finally show up on Thursday!
Hubby and I got to spend a really nice day with your beautiful granddaughter yesterday. We went to see Polar Express, had dinner at Outback and then to Borders to waste a few hours until time to meet her Mom for change of hands.
We are going into a warming trend here in my neck of the woods.
If all goes according to the weatherperson's predictions, I might even be able to wash the truck this weekend!
Excuse me for a while. I need to get in a few personal's before I am required to get myself moving. Oh, do you hear those bells? They are getting ready to ring in the New Year! Hear them, yet?
