Recipe for a Happy New Year
To leave the old with a burst of song To recall the right and forgive the wrong; To forget the thing that binds you fast To the vain regrets of the year that's past; To have the strength to let go your hold Of the not worthwhile of the days grown old, To dare to go forth with a purpose true, To the unknown task of the year that's new; To help your brother along the road To do his work and lift his load; To add your gift to the world's good cheer, Is to have and to give a Happy New Year.

Ever since my first cable box (analog).....I have NEVER been able to watch one and record another. Seeing and recording are only the channel shown on the box. (Then digital, and now DVR, all the same.) At least with the "old fashioned" VCR I could/can do both. And the VRC will change channels if you are away....not so with cable box. DVR box does!!

On the Big Island, we've few beaches. We had a beautiful black sand beach a few years ago, now covered by a lava flow.
Tip! Contact a rental agent and get a condo apt. owned by a snowbird. Stay a month for the price of 5 hotel days.
