Gibson went outside the Hollywood establishment, Gibson is a conservative and it was about Christ. The critics have their 3 strikes. They can say all they want, they can talk about artistic this or that, or thay can get all their stooges to give whatever reason they want. They simple won't give an inch to Gibson and they can all go to h*** as far as I care.

On Fox -- they are speaking about past movies that featured religion, but those were different times ---- when Hollywood was not the secular dump that it is now.

That was my thought when he mentioned those movies from yesteryear. He didn't mention any recent movies because almost all of the recent movies with religion or religious themes have portrayed organized religion in a negative or mocking manner. Fools!

Good analysis. I assumed all along that it wouldn't be nominated for anything.
